It's difficult for me to remember sometimes that God has a plan for us. In times of trial and turmoil I get so anxious, and it's hard for me to find spiritual peace. I have to learn to trust more. I have to learn that I am not in control, nor should I want to be.
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. ~ Ephesians 2:10

Me again...I didn't know you had 3 blogs, but I love the idea of separating the topics, so think I should do that too, because I have a lot to say that isn't tea related. I am SO very thankful that I can depend on my God not to change His mind...I can always go to His Word to learn what to expect from Him, and to discern when something that is said about God doesn't fit within the character of God. And I love Philippians 4:11. I have been praying this scripture with my granddaughter...she can sometimes be negative in her perspective, so I show her that she can always find answers just for her in her Bible. She's only 10, but I think memorizing the verses gives her a real security, just as it does me. Without it, Eileen, how do we wade through this troubled sea of life? We need a Light to follow...otherwise, we just lead each other around in the dark, going nowhere.
ReplyDeleteI love your title and your reasons for choosing it. Just let me say that your seed seems to be growing nicely, and I mean that...humility is the beginning of wisdom, and to me, knowing that we are needy, that we don't know it all, or have it all, is a major step in becoming Christ like. I'm glad I found this blog, and will visit it often...we all need each other to water our gardens of the soul...I'm constantly learning and growing, knowing I'll never reach a place where I can stop.
God bless you, Eileen.
Mary, thanks for visiting! I love how you have such deep, abiding Faith, and I love how you share it with everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd I do agree with you, I don't know what people who have no Faith do in times of need? My Faith in God and His Goodness has gotten me through many dark times in my life.
Thank you so much for kind words and your encouragement, I appreciate it so much.
And I love how you put it "we all need each other to water our gardens of the soul". Thank you for helping me water the garden of my soul! If you start a new blog that would be such a pretty name for it "Garden Of The Soul"!
Love,
Eileen
